Throughout my artistic career, my artworks have been  characterized by an evocative emotive  style of layers, bold lines, colors and shapes

vigorously churned on a variety of textured and reflective surfaces.  I invite you to explore my enigmatic, searching style through the images and written words

found on my site.

Steinkamp is definitely and artist to keep watching regionally and, hopefully nationally.

His paintings are a lot more complex than they appear at first glance.
